HACIEN Tequila has recently won multiple awards including a coveted Great Taste Award for their Añejo Cristalino, as judged by the Guild of Fine Food's expert panel for 2024.

Described as "a very cleverly crafted product" the Añejo Cristalino was a big hit with the Great Taste judges falling into the outstanding category, which less than 10% of products achieve.

HACIEN Tequila has recently won multiple awards including a coveted Great Taste Award for their Añejo Cristalino, as judged by the Guild of Fine Food's expert panel for 2024.

Not only does The Great Taste Award solidify the brand’s reputation as a leading tequila, but the ongoing demand for their offering within the industry. Jordan Myers, HACIEN Tequila co-founder, said: "We are thrilled to have won a Great Taste award for our Tequila Añejo Cristalino. We have worked very hard for this moment and are proud to be adding the prestigious black and gold Great Taste badge of honour to our bottles."

Sebastian Francis, HACIEN co-founder, also said: "Being recognised with a Great Taste 2-star means so much to myself and the HACIEN team, as it makes all the hard work worth it! Great Taste is the most recognised accolade for taste and quality in the food and drink industry so it's a high moment for us at the brand."

It’s not only Great Taste who have been captivated by the tequila brand, the International Wine & Spirit Competition (IWSC) also commended the business recently where they triumphed with five prestigious awards.

Now with its award-winning status and growing presence in the retail and hospitality market, HACIEN is quickly becoming a staple for tequila aficionados and newcomers alike. So it doesn’t come as a surprise that retailers such as Partridges and Harvey Nichols are eager to stock the luxurious label.

Senior Spirits & Beer Buyer Nick Bell from Harvey Nichols spoke of the tequila brand's success: “We are proud to have worked with HACIEN for the last two-years at Harvey Nichols, and continue to have a great relationship with the brand. As an IWSC tequila judge myself, I know that it is tough to do well in this competition. It’s great to see their success continue this year.”

To propel the next phase of growth, the brand is adding to their team of board members, alongside looking to return to fundraising for an equity round to fund the next stage of its expansion and assist with the release of future products and brand developments.

As for the rest of the year, the company has several new flavours in production with some set for release by year end. The introduction of new products will see approximately 60% of the range flavoured, doubling their existing offering and “allowing more people access to premium, flavoured tequila and cementing the brand as the premium tequila of choice”.

If that wasn’t enough, Hacien is an official backstage sponsor at the MTV EMA Awards that are set to be held in Manchester November 10th.

It’s easy to recognise that 2024 is the year HACIEN became the leading destination for flavoured tequila, whether enjoyed neat, in a cocktail, or as part of a celebration, the brand offers a taste that is now more accessible than ever before and with a future that continues to gain recognition and expansion, globally.
